In light of Thanksgiving, the Academy of Our Lady of Guam Student Council held a Drive-By Drop-Off on November 21 and November 22 to collect non-perishable food items and personal hygiene products. Held from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, cars lined up under the AOLG gym to deliver their donations to student volunteers. The student volunteers then sorted and packed the donated goods into boxes, which will be given to Catholic Social Services and Kusinan Kamalen Karidat. The AOLG Student Council hopes to provide relief to the community with these donations. The season of Thanksgiving is not just a reminder to be grateful for what we have, but to also share what we have.

Class of 2021 Ring Ceremony

On Friday, October 23, 2020, the AOLG Class of 1989 made a donation of fresh fruits, assorted snacks, coffee, water, bathing supplies, and massage gift certificates to the GMH doctors, nurses and support teams that work tirelessly during the graveyard shift to care for our island’s sick. Pictured with the GMH staff are Class of 89 sisters Narcissa Pangelinan Ada, Shana Guzman and Stacey Yatar Budasi.

Congratulations to the following AOLG students who were recently awarded scholarships from generous returning scholarship donors! The students were recognized at the school’s Mercy Day Zoom Assembly held on September 23, 2020. May you continue to achieve your goals as you continue your high school years at the Academy of Our Lady of Guam.

In keeping with the ministry of the school’s foundress Catherine McAuley of educating women and children, the Academy of Our Lady continues to provide scholarships and tuition assistance to families interested in having their daughters attend this fully accredited and highly esteemed college preparatory only all-girls high school on Guam.
