On Saturday, September 21, 2019, the Academy of Our Lady of Guam Student Council donated $300 to Erica’s House in the name of the Religious Sisters of Mercy. To commemorate Mercy Day, AOLG Student Council chose to bring awareness to one of the critical concerns of the Sisters of Mercy: nonviolence. Student Council officers Brianna Cabrera, Jasmine Pangelinan, Angelica Gomez, and Andrea Cruz, along with Student Council advisor Ms. Lourdes Babauta, met with Jholyn Parducho to present the check. The donation helps to uphold the organization that seeks to cultivate safety within families. Erica’s House is a non-profit organization that provides support services for children and parents affected by violence.
