The Camarin Chapter of the National Honor Society welcomed its newest members on January 27, 2016. The National Honor society seeks "to recognize and encourage academic achievement while developing other characteristics essential to citizens in a democracy." Centered on scholarship, leadership, character, and service, the National Honor Society is made up of students who exemplify these values and offers opportunities for them to give back to their school and community.

The event was complete with Sara Fitzpatrick as the Keynote Speaker and musical performances from the Freshman Class and NHS. Following the tapping ceremony was a merienda in honor of the new inductees and their families, donated by the Freshman Class.
